There are no holes in this piece if the buyer wanted to mount with screws. Toilet paper will tend to come off if you don’t install this a certain direction. Place on wall or cabinet where hook part is closest to you. Otherwise, a quick to spin will throw the roll in the floor. Not a big enough issue for me to not use. I just installed in the direction that allowed stop to be towards me so that when pulling on the tissue, it prevents it from coming off.
