Big Bees are great for practice sketching and roughing out. The paper is decent quality, with a subtle texture that makes it quite versatile whether you're drawing with pencil or pen.The pages come out easily—this is by design, and this is an excellent sketchpad if that's what you need. Don't get this if you're planning to keep all your sketches together in the book.If you want to keep your sketchbook together, I'd recommend the Strathmore 300 Wire Bound, which is at a similar price point (but it's more difficult to get the pages out if you need to).The Big Bee is ideal for pulling pages out to tape to a board and draw that way. It's a great no-frills product; I've gone through a lot of Big Bees in my life, and I see no reason to stop!
